Boat Berthing

Members of the club are generally able to store boats and sails/spars etc. in the club dinghy compound.  There is unfortunately no storage facilities available for other craft.

The club has limited berthing spaces and priority is given to active sailors and racers.  Being a sailing member does not always entitle you to a dinghy berth, nor does having a berth in one year mean you will definitely be allocated a space the following year.

We want people to sail, race and use their boats if they’re stored at the club.  If you don’t use your boat, then you cannot assume you have a right to space.

A complete list of boat berth allocations will be posted on the club noticeboard from time to time.

Please ensure:

  • all boat trolleys are tagged with name, class and sail number to enable the beach team to support you effectively;
  • boats must be tied down (anchor chains to be used for all ground beths)
  • road trailers are not be be left in the boat yard

Please be aware that during the season berthing spaces may (and probably will) be adjusted to make best use of the boat pound for all sailors.
