Well, we only had 3 sailors today and that’s all we needed to satisfy the Sailing Instructions.
And so the show went on!
The morning started with excellent bacon, egg & sausage baps provided by Lynne & Dave in the kitchen.
Many thanks to Melanie & Lucy helping on the beach, Ross & Andy in the safety boat and of course Roshan in the race office.
We had a steady Force 3, gusting to Force 5 but with ridiculously large shifts, resulting in many capsizes for our 3 sailors.

Our 3 sailors were Guy Mayger, Alex Mayger & Mark Swanton. Mark went over first….then much to our astonishment it was Guy.
Clearly these were difficult sailing conditions! Alex took the first race & Mark the second. Guy did have a comfortable lead in the second race only to retire with a bent mast and shattered rudder!
So the Commodore’s Cup & Laser Challenge Cup go to young Alex, who seems to be getting faster & faster…
