Re-running of abandoned Trophy Races

Due to the inclement weather over the Easter Weekend we were not able to run the Clubhouse Trophy, the RNLI Pennant or the King George V Trophy.

At the Sailing Committee last night we agreed that in future, in principle, we would endeavour to re-run abandoned trophy races the second weekend after the scheduled date and time, alongside scheduled racing unless it clashed with another Trophy or Open event.  This could be on a Saturday afternoon or a Sunday, at the discretion of the Sailing Committee, but would be no sooner than the second weekend after the original date.

Therefore, it was decided to compete for the Clubhouse Trophy at 14:00 on Saturday 21 May followed by the RNLI Pennant at 15:00 on Saturday 21 May.  The King George V Trophy will be two races on Sunday 22 May at 11:00 and 12:00, together with the scheduled Founders Series Races 1 and 2.

Don’t forget there is Cup Racing this coming Bank Holiday weekend, including the prestigious Golden Jubilee Cup on Sunday morning.

Look forward to seeing you all on the water!
