What is it? |
A one day mostly practical course, for those wishing to improve their racing skills. |
Who should come? |
Anyone who has a Laser 4.7, Radial or Laser Full rig. Must be able to sail competently (~RYA Level 2 minimum) + able to get around the race course + some knowledge of the rules (~RYA Start Racing course) + desire to improve.
For those with other dinghies, you may join in the course, however the coaching will biased to the majority. Blazes, double-handers all welcome – this could be a great opportunity to practice boat handling skills in preparation for racing! |
What does it involve? |
There will be mostly practical sessions. Video recording and debrief may be utilised. A certificate is not awarded. |
What does it cost? |
£25 per member . Non-members double. Chqs payable to FSC. |
Who can come? |
Any Sailing Member. Non-members by exception if there are any spare places. Help will be needed on the coach/safety boat – couple of spaces available for helper/driver. |
How long is it? |
Starts at 0930, finish about 1630. Bring own lunch. |
